Vodka 700ml
Say hello to our latest product, Vodka.
After multiple requests, here you go.
Like all our products, we took the time with this formulation to make, what we think, is a cracking Vodka. This Vodka is smooth and clean and crisp with a balanced flavour profile - exactly what a excellent Vodka should be.
Sampled straight it glides over the palette leaving no harsh burn - more a gentle warmth :)
In fact, its that smooth, that some of our venues are going to put a Vodka Old Fashioned on their menu (Pretty much straight Vodka with Brown Sugar Syrup, Bitters and usually served with a peel of Orange).
There is so many things you can do with Vodka so from our perspective we cant wait to get the cocktails and recipes started !
What this space for our new creations to be added to our website soon.
Most of all ENJOY ! And let us know what you think !
Want to know a little bit about the history of Vodka? Read On.
The origin of Vodka is not quite clear and is hugely debatable, but there is no doubt that it goes a long way back.
In Poland, the production of liquor began in the mid 1500's ! In those early days the spirits were used mostly as medicines. Vodka production on a much larger scale began in Poland at the end of the 16th century and by 1580 Silesian cities had 498 working spirits distillerys.
In the 17th and 18th centuries, Polish vodka was known in the Netherlands, Denmark, England, Russia and Germany.
In Russia, a type of distilled liquor designated by the Russian word "vodka" came to Russia Russia in the late 14th century.
In Sweden, up until the 1950's, vodka was not used as a designation for swedish distilled beverages, which were instead called "brannvin". This beverage has been produced in sweden since the late 15th century, although the production was still small until the 18th century.
